Tightening budgets and the post AIG fallout has put the need to prove the business case for events firmly on the agenda. Elling Hamso and the European ROI Institute has been preaching this gospel for some time, creating the annual ROI Week, where professionals from the meetings and events industry can learn how to measure the return on investment of their events and more. Ian Whiteling was keen to find out more about this year’s conference.

The ROI methodology module you held recently at MPIs CMM course has made me review and reconsider the approach to measuring ROI of the events I organise and participate in.
